§ 2-1. Syracuse City Court jurisdiction.

  • Notwithstanding any inconsistent provisions in the criminal procedure law, uniform city court act, or any other laws regulating jurisdiction of a city court, the jurisdiction of the City Court of Syracuse shall include the following:

    (a)

    Concurrent jurisdiction with the appropriate town court of criminal matters, as is prescribed by the criminal procedure law, committed within or upon any real property owned by such city and used for municipal airport purposes.

    (b)

    Exclusive jurisdiction to hear, try and determine all complaints and charges of violations of the city charter, local laws, ordinances and rules and regulations of the city of Syracuse, within or upon any real property owned by such city and used for municipal airport purposes.
