§ 5-14. Issuance of permits to carry firearms.

The chief of police is hereby authorized to issue permits to carry firearms in said city, in proper cases, for a period not exceeding one year upon receiving from the applicant for each permit so granted the sum of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50). All moneys received or derived from granting or issuing such permits shall be paid into the police pension fund.
