§ 5-35. Drainage and plumbing to comply with building code and sanitary code; examination, registration, etc., of plumbers.

  • The drainage and plumbing of all buildings both public and private shall be executed in accordance with the provisions of the building code and sanitary code. No person shall engage in, or carry on the trade, business or calling, or be permitted to do any work as employing or master plumber unless he shall have first obtained a certificate of competency from the examining board of plumbers and a certificate of registration from the department of health of said city, in the form and manner provided by law and shall have complied with all of the provisions of law relating thereto.
