§ 10-4. Duties and powers of sextons.

The sexton of the Rose Hill Cemetery shall reside in and have free use of the dwelling upon the cemetery ground. All sextons under this chapter shall keep the cemetery grounds in good order and, as often as necessary, mow the grass and remove the weeds. They shall assist in enforcing the provisions of this chapter and of any other ordinances and regulations of the city concerning cemeteries. They shall have power to arrest any person trespassing on the respective cemeteries hereunder, in any manner. They shall wear a badge with the words "city sexton" thereon.
