§ 25-25. Renewal of driver's license.

(a)

Application for renewal of a driver's license shall be filed with the commissioner of licenses at least ten (10) days prior to the expiration of the license to be renewed, on a form to be supplied by him. Applications for renewal shall be accompanied by payment of the license fee required by this article and shall be nonrefundable in the event the license is not renewed.

(b)

The commissioner of licenses shall forward to the chief all applications for renewal.

(c)

Upon approval by the chief, the commissioner of licenses shall cause a taxicab driver's license or airport bus driver's license to be issued to the applicant for the ensuing one-year term.
