§ 25-40. Taximeter flag and taxicab stands.

Latest version.

The taximeter shall be kept in the recording position at all times when the taxicab is occupied. At all other times, it shall be kept in a nonrecording, vacant position.

Each taxicab driver, while waiting employment at any established taxicab stand, shall not leave his taxicab unattended for more than five (5) minutes and shall at all other times remain in attendance of the taxicab to which he is in charge.
