§ 2-60. Alarm systems exempt from the annual alarm system permit fee.

The following classes of systems and persons shall be exempt from the requirement to pay the annual alarm system permit fee:
(1)

All fire alarm systems;

(2)

All medic alert systems;

(3)

All systems protecting municipal, county, state or federal governmental projects;

(4)

Intrusion detection alarm systems protecting the residences of elderly or disabled persons as defined in this article. Said persons shall provide the police department with sufficient evidence to satisfy said department that they are entitled to an exemption.
