§ 2-13. Custody by city clerk.

  • The city clerk shall have a room in which shall be placed the records and documents of the city of which he has custody. Except as provided in sections 2-14 and 2-15, the city clerk shall have custody of the records of the common council, of the various departmentments of the city, and of all other books, records and documents that appertain to the office of the city clerk and of those which are referred to him by the common council.
