§ 2-17b. Furnishing copies of records of the court; fees therefor.

The city court shall be entitled to demand and receive upon the issuing and delivery of copies of transcripts or any reports of records of the city courts: civil, criminal, police, criminal traffic or traffic violation bureau, on file with said department, which may lawfully be given, a fee of one dollar ($1.00) per page or any fraction thereof for each such transcript or certified copy issued.

Transcripts or certified copies of records or reports shall be furnished free of charge by the city court to the state of New York or any political subdivision thereof, including the county of Onondaga, and the city of Syracuse or any bureau, office or department thereof, and to attorneys appointed by the court to defend indigent persons.
