§ 2-19. Unauthorized telephone service prohibited.

No agreement shall be made with any department or officer of the city for the installation or maintenance of any city telephone service, in addition to any existing service, or for the continuance of the existing service, except upon the approval of the commissioner of public works, who shall supervise the location, installation and maintenance of all city telephones and all wiring and apparatus belonging thereto.
