§ 50-1. Title and purpose.

Syracuse Living Wage Ordinance. The purpose of this legislation is to ensure that employees of contractors and subcontractors with the City of Syracuse earn an hourly wage that will enable such employees and their families to live above the federal poverty level and reduce or eliminate their reliance on taxpayer-funded social services.
