§ 50-13. Severability clause and effective date.

(1)

In the event any provision of this law shall be held invalid or unenforceable by a final determination of any court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not invalidate or render unenforceable any other provisions of this chapter.

(2)

This chapter shall take effect one hundred twenty (120) days after its enactment, however service contracts executed, extended or renewed prior to the effective date of this chapter shall not be governed by the terms of this ordinance except as provided in section 50-3(a) of this chapter.
