§ 34-5. Professional assistance committees.
Professional assistance committees in the following areas may be created by the commission:
Health and social services
Housing, transportation and protective services
Economic security
Public policy and information and others as the commission shall determine.
The membership of such committees shall consist of the commission members appointed thereto by the chairman of such other individuals of the community who may be deemed professionals in various fields, i.e. aging legal, etc., shall be appointed thereto by the chairman. Such committees shall make recommendations to the planning and priorities committee and to the commission.
